Good News

What some of us have known for a while is now official. Chris Rorke '89, the Dartmouth quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator since 2011, is the new head football coach at Tabor Academy, near Cape Cod.

From the Tabor website:
Joining us in 2017, Chris comes to Tabor after 28 years of collegiate experience. Most recently, he spent the last six years as Quarterback Coach at his alma mater, Dartmouth College. He joins the College Counseling Office as well as taking on the head coaching duties for the Tabor football team. Chris and his family are very excited to be a part of the Tabor community.
The move to the prep ranks brings Rorke full circle. He is a graduate of Brooks School, where he played for his father, Dan.

With Rorke taking over the program at Tabor, all three of the three coaches not returning to the Dartmouth sidelines this year have found a home. In addition to Rorke, tight ends coach Kyle Metzler has joined the staff at Penn and running backs coach Chad Nice will coach at Cornell, his alma mater.
