Did You Know . . .

Did you know that the Dartmouth football team already has a 2017 Wikipedia page? I didn't ;-)

There's more to it than this. Check it our HERE.

In case you are wondering, there are pages for a bunch of Dartmouth football seasons. The guess here is you would enjoy checking out THIS ONE:

The Chicago Tribune has a story about the Naperville, Ill., Patriots youth football program starting to resemble another set of Patriots with its ninth national championship team. The story mentions that 14 players from the 2012 eighth grade national championship run signed to play college football this, including Dartmouth-bound Tommy Ciesla, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive lineman from Neuqua Valley High School.
Speaking of going on to college sports, yesterday morning I happened to run into Dylan Moye, former video coordinator for the Dartmouth football program. I almost had to do a double-take because he has lost 70 pounds.  Dylan reports he is now happily working in the athletic department at New Hampton School, the New Hampshire prep school powerhouse that has sent more than 70 players to the college football ranks since 2000, and nearly 90 players to the college basketball ranks in the same timespan.
Have you been paying attention to what the Dartmouth baseball team has been doing down south?

Yesterday's second win over No. 26 Central Florida in as many days combined with two victories over then No. 17 Miami gave the Big Green four wins over nationally ranked teams this spring, a school record. Central Florida came into the series with an 18-4 mark including a 16-2 record at home. The only home losses prior to its games against Dartmouth came against Florida State.

Dartmouth (10-5) wraps up its series with UCF today at noon.

The Big Green kicks off Ivy League play Saturday and Sunday with doubleheaders at Penn and Columbia and is slated to open the home season April 8 and 9 with twinbills against Princeton and Cornell.
