Closing In On It

Spring practice is slated to begin one week from today. A reminder that the 12 sessions allowed by the Ivy League will be held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings, weather (and other variables) permitting. The culminating Green-White "game" is slated for Saturday, April 29.

Memorial Field was still snow covered as of last night but a few rainy days, some sun and near-50 degree temperatures Sunday and Monday – along with a little help from the college – should have it ready to go.
Dartmouth's Pro Day is slated for Thursday. Linebacker Flo Orimolade, safety Charlie Miller and longsnapper Graydon Peterson, all seniors, will be joined by graduated wide receiver Ryan McManus and corner Chai Reece. Also expected to take part are University of New Hampshire offensive lineman Andrew Lauderdale, safety DeAndrade, running back Dalton Crossan and tight end Jordan Powell.
Like the NFL Combine, Pro Days have caught the attention of the masses and the league has responded. The NFL.com website now lists where and when Pro Days are taking place. Here's the list for Thursday, straight off the NFL site:
Ball State, Boise State, California (Pa.), Chattanooga, The Citadel, Dartmouth, Georgia Southern, Florida Atlantic, Louisville, North Texas, Prairie View A&M, Sam Houston State, Texas A&M, Western Illinois, Yale.

Da Bears have returned to the Dartmouth neighborhood. Make that the bears, a momma and two cubs. The Dartmouth has a report.
