An Intelligent Dummy

A scenic to start  your day. My daily hike out our back door and up Moose Mountain ends at South Peak, which affords a nice view of Goose Pond. Part of Goose, which is larger than you would think from this picture (it has six miles of shoreline) is in Hanover, but to get there you have to drive around the mountain. The peak in the background is Cardigan. Click the photo for a better view.

Here's a video on how it was developed:

And here's Teevens talking about it:

Former jayvee quarterback Sean Furey '05 saved the best for last, uncorking a personal record 272-foot, 7-inch throw to win the javelin at the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Ore., and earn a berth on the U.S. team headed to China in August. (LINK)

Find more about Furey HERE.
Garrett Waggoner begins his CFL career tonight as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers visit the Saskatchewan Roughriders. As a rookie Wags is third on the depth chart at the Will linebacker spot. The game is available online on ESPN3 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
