Don Mahler, sports editor of the local daily, has a column about Dartmouth coach Buddy Teevens surpassing legendary Bob Blackman for the most games coached at the school. From the STORY (which I don't know if you'll be able to access):

Now, comes a son of Dartmouth, a former Ivy winning quarterback, a two-time Ivy title winning head coach, a man who has shrugged off great losses as he has ignored high praise. Who would have thought that when his Big Green take the field today in its Homecoming clash with Holy Cross, that Buddy Teevens would find himself atop the list for the man who has coached the most Dartmouth football games (145) in school history?

But then, how could you believe anything else?

Carter Scott '11, whose career as a linebacker was ended by an injury incurred after earning a start against New Hampshire in his freshman year, was selected as a Florida Gubernatorial Fellow while studying law at Florida State University. Scott worked in the Office of Fiscal Accountability and Regulatory Reform.

Scott and Peter Pidermann '10, who spent a year playing professional football and helping German's Mönchengladbach Mavericks to a championship, both earned law degrees from Florida State, the top-rated law school in Florida. Pidermann interned under the Florida State director of football operations one year while in law school.

The forecast here in Hanover is 46 percent chance of rain at kickoff rising to 70 percent chance for the rest of the game. Keep in mind, there was a 100 percent chance of rain during a practice earlier this week and it didn't rain, which reminds us that 100 percent and chance don't go together ;-) The temperature should be around 60 degrees throughout with slight winds from the southwest.
